I would like to make a little comment on my blog. I hope you have seen what i wanted to show: the power of women. With all these ads and comercials, we have noticed that woman had influences on consumers. With their natural charm, they can sell what they want: drinks, cars, beauty products,…
There are two phenomens: woman identify themselves to these woman (i buy the same products…) and man are seduced !
There are two targets: woman but also man ! Ads people want to involve man in comercials. Normally, only woman are aware to this but now, man are a whole target. Because, there are comercials and ads with famous man ! Sexy, beautiful, glamour,…it is not a feminine specificity any more !!
I hope you will look at comercials with an other eye… Be carefull, we are manipulated !
Sharon Stone is a sex symbol, that’s a true. She is more known for hey physic than for her career. There is only one movie where she is recognized, it is “Basic Instinct”. This movie is THE movie of her career. And this comercial is a parody of the most famous scene of the movie where Sharon Stone is interviewed by the policeman, she is sat and crossed her legs… This ad is funny because it is a scotish man wearing a kilt who does it ! There is no word during 45 seconds but the viewer understands inmediatly the comparison. It is really funny. Sharon Stone is absolutly wonderful…
Beyonce and J-Lo are two famous singers. They are known for their musical careers, less for comercials. In this long comercial (tow minutes), the two women are superwomen. They are training in a japenese center, they are given a new mission by their coach.
We can also see the footballer, David Beckam who is the chief of a gang. He orders his team to figtht against the two women. But they are stronger !! At the end there is a touch of humour.
This ad is well-made: sepcial effects, fights scenes, humour,… The two women keep being glamour during all the comercial even they are figthing ! At the end, they can at least drink their Pepsi. The product is well-represented.
This comercial is for a perfume, “the one”. The model is Gisele Bundchen: she is one of the most famous model in the world. Gisele works for the american brand “Victoria’s secret” which make luxuary underwears. She is known for her wonderful body, face…
This ad is like in the coulisse of fashion shows. She is not ready and the journalists are waiting for her outside. The crowd is crazy !
Her team arrives, and wants her to be the most beautiful as possible: make-up, hair, dress, shoes,… but the important touch is the perfume. It is the panic is present but not for the model. She looks excited. And when she goes out, she is “the one” everybody was waiting for…
This comercial is for the promotion of a perfume called “J’adore”. This actress is known for fmaous movies, for instance “Monster” where she incarns a horrible homosexual woman. Charlize Theron likes playing with her physic. Here, she is doing a strip tease, walking in a corridor taking away her clothes… This ad is not only for women but also for men ! They must like watching it more than women maybe ! This comercial is short, 21 seconds but the effect is welle-made: she is naked in 21 seconds and talks about the perfume.

This ad is fantastic, there is a special atmosphere: the music, the caracters… Madonna is a famous icone. She designed clothes for the H&M. She represents changing during the year: she has tasted everytime style, colours, hair cut,… She is a world wide icone in music but in fashion too. Every album had their own signature like her. She is able to change her look-like as she wants.
This comercial is quite long, quite expensive (they have to pay Madonna ! ) but it is unique.

This comercial is a tipyc one, 30 seconds. Ines Sastre is a french actress, not really famous. She is beautiful and sensual. This comercial is its reflect. It is an old ad but it didn’t loose its charme. This ad is a tresor as the name of the product… The music is romantic, the caracters beautiful….World is perfect ! Thanks Lancôme…
This comercial is the television illustration of Chanel n°5. We have already seen the paper ad before. This comercial is an adaptation of the movie “Moulin Rouge” as we said. Iit is a long comercial, very expensive with special effects. Chanel has spent a lot of money in this ad but the result is here: this ad is wonderful !
She is one of l’Oreal models. L’oreal always choose famous actress. They incarn beauty, success, glamour…
But this woman is special, she is the first indian famous woman. Before, nobody knew that indian woman could be so beautiful. She is the illustration of beauty globalization. She was known from the Bollywood, indian remake of Hollywood. She doesn’t look like all the standards we already know. She is different but still wonderful.
I think it was interesting to put this article because there is a contrast with the others. She is unique, her face is unique.
Vuitton is a famous brand all around the world and have chosen a famous french actress to represent them, what an honnor !
The target of this brand is rich people who like luxuary products. So they needed somebody who incarn this idea. Catherine Deneuve was a perfect model.
She is beautiful, class, famous for goods movies,… She represents the French touch, the French class that everybody talks about.
Tha ad has an old aspect with the locomotive which doesn’t exist anymore. Her foot are painfull that’s why she is sat on her bags…signed Vuitton. This brand is one of the most famous luggage brand in the world. Everybody know their logo with is made of the two initials.
